JOE MILLER BEATS LEUKEMIA

Joe Miller  - the man we know and LOVE

Joe Miller is an accomplished man. Middle son of Dan and Annette Miller, Joe is your typical middle child. Always humble, Joe considers himself the most handsome of his 2 brothers, Chris, age 30 and Kevin, age 19.

The Miller Family was raised in Ambler and has attended St. Anthony's Church for over 25 years. Joe attended grade school at Ambler Catholic school and high school at Lansdale Catholic. Joe was an alter boy, on student council and a stellar homecoming court member.

From a young age Joe showed a strong interest in sports.  As a Miller man, he was destined to fall into the athletic footsteps of his grandfather, father and uncle.  Although Joe played several different pee wee sports, baseball quickly became his favorite.  Joe spent over a decade training as a catcher and eventually went on to play baseball in college for Penn State Abington. After a year at PSU, Joe set his sights on LaSalle University and made the move.  Thank God he did! It was at LaSalle that Joe met the love of his life, Eileen Morrison.

Eileen was a junior at LaSalle when she met Joe. A cheerleader and honor student, she was everything Dan and Annette could have dreamed of for Joe.  A beautiful blonde and bubbly spirit, she was everything Joe had dreamed for himself.  They were the perfect match.  Their personalities complimented each other perfectly and they shared a stong faith in God.

In 2004 Joe graduated from LaSalle, with only a few concussions from rugby, and a degree in Marketing (or as he likes to say a BS in BS) and went into management with Sherwin Williams.  Eileen graduated that same year with a degree in Communications and now works at Vanguard as an Instructional Designer.

Shortly after college graduation, Joe and Eileen were engaged. Their marriage was held on October 14, 2006 as St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Their first year of marriage was wonderful.  They had purchased a beautiful home in Eagleville and they were surrounded by friends and family. During that time, Joe also joined an adult baseball league and has maintained an average of over 300 in his time on the Perky league.

In February of 2008, they received the news that they were expecting their first child.  They were overjoyed with the news and later that year welcomed a beautiful, healthy baby girl into the world.  Madison Helen Miller was born on December 16, 2008.

Joe, Eileen and Madi are a wonderful family. They enjoy going to the Phillies games, vacationing, spending quality time with their friends and extended families and much more. They are good Catholics and participating community members. They are all around great people who need your support. Prayers are free, please be generous.
